How long have your lived in Pawleys Island or the surrounding area? My husband and I moved to Pawleys Island from Bloomington Indiana in July 2024. After becoming empty nesters, we felt it was time for a change and new experiences. We wanted to be close to the beach, and the laid-back charm of Pawleys attracted us.  We love the sense of community that we found here and are excited to build new relationships.

What are your Hobbies? Long walks on the beach with our dog, reading, spending time with friends.

Favorite thing about Pawleys Island? The beach, people

Favorite Local Restaurant? Bistro 217, Caffe Piccolo

If you only had a few days to spend on Pawleys Island, what would you recommend doing? Definitely watch the sunrise on the beach and the sunset on the creek; walk through the Hammock shops, and visit the Brookgreen Gardens.
